You may have heard of 3G, 4G, or the latest 5G technology.This simply refers to the generation of technology used to power your cell phone connection. Many folks are not aware that major wireless carriers will be getting rid og their 3g networks this year. What does this mean for you? Well if you have an older phone, internet-enabled tabled, or even a car that uses 3g technology to get internet connectivity, then your devices may soon stop working and you will need a replacement. It will be better to upgrade sooner than later. Here are some important dates to be aware of:
- AT&T will shutdown 3g technology in February of 2022
- Verizon will shotdown 3g technology on Decebber 31st.
- T-Mobile will shutdown 3g technology on July first.
